Moisturizing is the most important step of one’s skin care regime. Never skip that, no matter what and specially in this season, we must pamper the skin with the moisturizers, and better if it’s oil or cream based, but only for dry skin. And the oily skinned beauties, first off, consider yourself blessed, and yes, you have to moisturize too, but go for a water based moisturizers. Another blunder we do is, skipping sunscreen. Somehow, we just associate sunscreens with just summer but however, it must be used all the time, to prevent any skin damage. Invest in a good one with minimum SPF of 30, to block the sunrays and as per the hydrating part, along with the moisturizers, facials oils can be used. Specially the ones that have lavender, chamomile and jojoba will give a new life to your skin.

No, external care isn’t just enough. You must be healthy on the inside too. Drink loads of water, as they will flush the toxins out and eat fruits like berries and tomatoes to keep your skin health and supple. Cut out the junk food, that has too much salt and sugar in it, as they’d do nothing but dehydrate and make your skin look dull and lifeless. And yes, make sure you get your beauty sleep too. Eight hours, no less.

Take a little time for yourself from your busy schedule and care for yourself. Wake up a little early, exercise and sweat the toxins out, be fit and healthy, after all, health is wealth!
