Take proper care of your hair with sulfate free shampoo and hair packs

Hair fall has become the most common problem these days. This has many reasons. High amount of pollution, huge stress and fast life lead to this, and in addition to these, is the unhealthy food habits that everyone has fallen prey for. One has to take a few minutes out every day from their regular busy schedule to take proper care of their hair. It is not a very difficult task though. Shampooing on a regular interval is necessary. It is better to use a sulfate free shampoo, which is mild on both hair and scalp.

Yes, no matter how much you shampoo and condition your hair, it is very important to use a hair pack once in a while, so that the roots and the scalp remain nourished and stay strong and healthy. One can go for certain homemade hair packs, which one can easily make at home with easily available ingredients and apply it on hair. One can easily rinse them off using a sulfate free shampoo and then condition it properly.

Henna Hair Pack

Henna is one of the natural herbs, which is very good for the tresses making them healthy and strong. This is a perfect ingredient which can remove dandruff from hair cleaning the scalp as well. One has to soak a sufficient amount of henna powder in a freshly brewed raw tea. Then one has to add a spoon of coconut oil and a few drops of lemon juice into it. One can also add half a cup of yogurt and a raw egg and mix it well before applying it on hair. One can leave it for at least an hour, till it soaks well and dries on your hair. Then you can rinse it off well with a shampoo.

Banana Almond Hair Pack

Many people may not know that banana is extremely good for hair. There are lot of vitamins, carbohydrates and natural oils in this fruit, which save hair from sudden breaking and split ends. Take one banana and mix it well with a few drops of almond oil. Apply it on hair and leave it for 20 minutes before washing it off properly with a shampoo.

Egg Pack

Eggs are full of nutritional elements like Vitamin A, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D, which are very good for healthy hair. It also has potassium, which increases moisture in your hair and prevents from extra hair fall and breakage. One has to beat a raw egg and add a spoonful of olive oil in it along with half a cup of milk. You can also add two drops of lemon juice into it, and then, apply it on hair and keep it for a few minutes and then wash it off.

Wash these packs with shampoos devoid any sulfate. Well, using a sulfate free dandruff shampoo any day is a great idea as it is devoid of any chemicals and is mild to the hair and scalp. As a result, it does not do any extra harm to your hair and helps them to be healthy.

    First of all, I had no idea I could use Banana for my hair. That was new.
    Another thing is, doesn’t henna bring color to your hair? I mean I have often been told that it softens your hair but I have also seen women use henna to dye their grey hair. So I’m not sure if I would use it as a pack. Tell me what you think.

      Henna is one thing that surely helps condition your hair but if you keep it for hours, that’s when it colors the hair. If you want only conditioning, henna can be applied for half and hour and not not more than that.
